What is the cancellation and no-show policy?

Cancellation

Lesson/Cage Time Cancellation-  Bookings may be cancelled through the customer account up until 24 hours prior to the start of the booking for a full refund. If a situation arises less than 24 hours prior to the booking, please contact us directly at (970) 893-4663 to reschedule or to have the lesson/cage time cost added to your account as a credit. 
Lessons must be rescheduled no later than 1 hour before the lesson time, or lesson will be handled as a no-show.

Camp/Clinic Cancellation-  Camps and clinics can be cancelled through the customer account up until 24 hours prior to the start of the first class. If a situation arises less than 24 hours prior to the booking, please contact us directly at (970) 893-4663.

No-Shows

Lesson No-Shows- Lesson no-shows are non-refundable. However, no-show lessons may be rescheduled one-time for a $25 rescheduling fee.

Cage Time No-Shows- Cage time no-shows are non-refundable.

Camp/Clinic No-Shows- Cage time no-shows are non-refundable.

Question 2

Do I have to book online or can I walk-in?

You are welcome to walk-in, however, if there is a specific cage you would like to use, we recommend booking online to ensure its availability. Our booking process is easy and fast, and streamlines your check-in process.

Do you offer lessons?

We currently offer baseball pitching lessons with Coach Brian, and hitting or fielding lessons with Coach Nate. All lesson availability and ongoing classes can be found here, but if availability doesn't meet your needs, please contact us for additional times. And don't forget, membership discounts apply to lessons and classes!

Do you offer Birthday or Team parties?

Question 5

Do I have to bring my own equipment?

We do have some youth batting helmets and a small selection of bats, but we cannot guarantee availability and correct sizing. Batting helmets are required for all hitting activities.

Question 6

Which pitching machine do I need?

Each of our pitching machines offers unique benefits. You can learn about each of the options here or by contacting us. One of our knowledgeable staff would love to help you determine what will be the best fit for you.

Question 7

How many people can use a cage at one time?

Accepted Answer

For the safety of all athletes, we ask that no more than 4 people rotate through a cage during one 30-minute time slot, with the exception of teams under the supervision of a coach. Each participant (or their parent/guardian if under 18) must sign a waiver and have a batting helmet.

Question 8

Is the liability waiver required?

Accepted Answer

Yes, our insurance requires anyone participating in baseball/softball activities to complete a liability waiver. Athletes will not be allowed to participate until they (or their guardian if under 18) have signed the waiver.

Question 9

I forgot my batting helmet. Can I still hit?

Accepted Answer

Safety is our top priority for our athletes, so everyone is required to wear a batting helmet inside the batting cages (with the exception of coaches and the pitching lane). If you do not have one, we may have a spare, but there is no guarantee that it will fit or be available.

Question 10

I received a gift card. How do I redeem it?

Accepted Answer

Congrats! You have awesome friends (or family)! To redeem a gift card, you must come in to Hack 'N' Jack or contact us directly at (970) 893-4663 before using it the first time so we can apply the credit to the correct customer account. Once we have added the gift card funds to your account "wallet" you can book online and pay with the available funds. Happy hitting!
